What Program is right for my child?
Max Sinoway programs are divided into age groups determined by a childs "League Age" (see more on "Leage Age" below). If your child's league age falls within the range for a program, you can enroll your child in that program. Please note that if your childs "League Age" does not fall within the League Age range for a program, that program will not be displayed as an option for your child on the registration page.  There is some League Age overlap from group to group so your child may be elligable for more than one program.

How do I determine my childs "League Age"?
Your child's "League Age" is the actual age of a child on August 31 of the official program year.  IMPORTANT TO NOTE:  Max Sinoway Fall Ball is considered a developmental league for Spring Ball so Fall Ball would go by the Spring Ball year.  For example, if you child's Birth Day is August 19th, 2015, and you want to sign them up for 2024 Fall Ball or 2025 Spring ball, you would go by their Age on August 31st, 2025 for both. In this case their "League Age" would be "10" for both Fall and Spring even though your child's actual age is 9 years.

The easiest way to determine League Age is to use the League Age Chart. The most recent chart can be found on the official Little League website at the link below. Find your child's birth month and year on the chart and their League Age is in the right-most column.  The Little League site also has calculator you can use.

Can my child play in an older program if he or she has the skill to do so?
Yes! We understand that players develop at different paces and some players may wish to play with an older group.  If their League Age falls within the older group you should be able to just register them by choosing the program.  If they do not fall within that age group, we ask that you register them for the appropriate age group and then contact the Max Sinoway Board to discuss.  Our coaches can evaluate the players skill level and do a determination.

Can my child play in younger program?
Typically, this is not allowed and would require an exception by the board. We ask that you register them for the appropriate age group and then contact the Max Sinoway Board to discuss an exception.

What are the League Age ranges for each Program?

Tee Ball
League Age: 4 to 6 

Scooters/Coach Pitch
League Age: 7 to 8 

Junior Majors
League Age: 8 to 10 

Majors
League Age: 9 to 12 

Challenger
League Age: 4 and up
